EJITE Publication Process
EJITE is dedicated to a thorough and transparent peer-review process to
guarantee the excellence and relevance of the research we publish. Here is
an overview of the standard publication procedure.
1. Submission:
2. Initial Review:
-
The Editor-in-Chief or an Associate Editor conducts an initial review to
assess the manuscript's suitability for EJITE.
-
Manuscripts that do not meet our scope or quality standards may be
rejected without external peer review.
3. Peer Review:
-
Suitable manuscripts are sent to at least two independent experts in the
field for double-blind peer review.
-
Reviewers assess the manuscript's originality, significance,
methodology, clarity, and relevance to the field.
4. Decision:
-
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief decides to
accept, revise, or reject the manuscript.
-
Authors receive a decision letter with the reviewers' comments and the
Editor's decision.
5. Revision (if necessary):
-
Authors are given an opportunity to revise their manuscript based on the
reviewer feedback.
- Revised manuscripts are re-submitted for further review.
6. Acceptance:
-
Once the manuscript meets our standards, it is formally accepted for
publication.
-
Authors are asked to sign a copyright transfer agreement.

7. Production:
-
The accepted manuscript undergoes copyediting, typesetting, and
formatting.
- Authors review and approve the final proof before publication.
8. Publication:
-
The final article is published online in an upcoming issue of EJITE.
-
The article is assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) for permanent
reference.
Timelines:
We strive to complete the peer-review process within 4-6 weeks of
submission. However, the actual time may vary depending on the complexity
of the manuscript and reviewer availability.
Open Access:
EJITE follows an open-access model, making all published articles freely
available online to readers worldwide.
