Author Guidelines for EJITE
Manuscript Preparation and Submission
Each of the following sections contains vital information for authors. Prior to making your contribution, we strongly advise you to allocate some time to thoroughly read them.
Submission Guidelines
- Submit your manuscript as a Word document (.doc or .docx) in EJITE format. Download EJITE Paper Template
- Prior to submission, it is necessary to thoroughly review and edit articles. Once an article has been submitted, it is not possible to make any modifications during the refereeing process. However, if the article is accepted, there will be an opportunity to make minor revisions after refereeing and before the final submission.
- Article contributions must not exceed 15% of already published textual material by the same author(s) or other author(s).
Manuscript Structure
- Title Page: Include the full title, authors' names, affiliations, corresponding author's email address, and an abstract of no more than 250 words.
- Keywords: Provide 5-8 relevant keywords.
- Main Text: Organize the main text into sections (e.g., Introduction, Material and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion).
- Acknowledgments: Acknowledge any funding sources or individuals who contributed to the work but are not listed as authors.
- References: Follow the Citation Style in EJITE paper template for references.
- Figures and Tables: Include figures and tables in high resolution (300 dpi minimum). Number and provide captions for all figures and tables.
Manuscript Length
- Authors are required to submit their papers in English in EJITE paper format, with a length of 10-12 pages.
- Review articles may have different length requirements.
Submission Process
- Submit your manuscript electronically through our Online Submission System.
- Ensure all co-authors have approved the final version before submission.
Ethics and Policies
Originality and Plagiarism
- Your manuscript must be original and not previously published or under consideration elsewhere.
- Plagiarism is strictly forbidden and will lead to rejection.
Authorship
- All listed authors must have made substantial contributions to the research and must also agree with the content of the publication.
- The corresponding author is accountable for communicating with the journal and ensuring that the manuscript complies with these requirements.
Conflicts of Interest
- Declare any potential conflicts of interest, including financial, personal, or professional relationships that could influence the research.
Ethical Considerations
- If your research involves human subjects or animals, provide details of ethical approval and adherence to relevant guidelines.
Review Process
Double-Blind Peer Review
- All submissions will be subject to a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of both the authors and reviewers are kept confidential.
Review Time
- We strive to provide initial reviewer feedback within 4-6 weeks of submission.
Revisions
- You may be asked to revise your manuscript based on reviewer feedback.
